The Lawyer’s office is one of the quickest projects that we have executed where we kept going between executing work on site and our drawing board all through the process, where design happened spontaneously and later we started developing a design language.

Having a fabricator on board since the beginning made us decide to construct all the support systems for furniture using mild steel and have wooden infills added later in the process. Every wall available in the office had to be decked with a bookshelf to accommodate the hundreds of books on law. We created a unique pattern for the bookshelves such that the system could be tweaked and used everywhere in the office. Every work table too was customized keeping each person’s comfort and use in mind. A deep blue colour used sparingly on some walls in sync with furniture added a tinge of color to the workspace.
